The hotel portfolio of the Hungarian capital is increasing continuously in 2010 and 2011 with the opening of some remarkable design hotels.

One of the recently inaugurated hotels is the Continental Zara, located in Budapest's downtown offering 272 rooms in four categories - reflected by art deco features, perfect harmony and fine elegance combining a modern world of colours and forms. Special features are the two courtyards and a rooftop garden.

The four star superior category Alta Moda Fashion Hotel opened its doors on 15th May 2010 in the heart of the city. . The stylish fashion hotel is situated in a fully renovated neo-renaissance building built in 1847, offering 114 spacious and elegant rooms as well as high-quality services.

The five-star Rácz Hotel and Thermal Spa is due to open in the Buda quarter by the end of this year. Its 67 rooms are elegant and traditionally decorated. The hotel also offers its clients direct free access to the next door Ràcz thermal spa.

For something a bit wilder there is the Buddha-Bar Hotel Klotild Palace, which will be in operation from spring 2011. It features a restaurant serving Asian dishes, overlooked by a giant Buddha. Bedrooms are flamboyant and plush. Located right on famous Váci Street, guests have instant access to countless shops and cafés, and the romantic Danube riverside is only a few steps away.
