Spain designs the Route of the Ham as new tourist product.
The project stimulated by Turespaña,  will spread out in five provinces that possess a 14.500 squares of housing. The Club of Product " Route of the Iberian ham ", an initiative promoted by the Secretariat of State of Tourism, has overcome already the pilot phase and has its own corporate identity and manuals, so that soon it will spread over the provinces of Salamanca, Caceres, Badajoz, Cordova and Huelva.
"It is a tourist product that it has as aim catch visitors using for it the resources that the Iberian pork offers, specially the ham, the territory that supports his production, the gastronomic products of the same one, technologies of production and culture, offering an experience complete to the visitor".
