Sevilla

SEVILLA, SPAIN -- Along with all its significant monuments and fascinating history, Seville is universally famous for being a cheerful city.

Even though its inhabitants are known for their wit, the city itself is striking for its vitality. It is the biggest city in Southern Spain, the city of Carmen, Don Juan and Figaro. Many different cultures have marked the history of Seville.

Their legacy has shaped for centuries its cultural, monumental and artistic heritage which can be admired in its streets and museums. Other places of tourist interest are the Casa de Pilatos, a big stately home of the XVIth century; the Macarena Church, the Torre del Oro on the shore of the river Guadalquivir and in front of the famous Plaza de Toros of the Maestranza. Crossing the Triana Bridge, we reach the lively and popular neighbourhood of the same name, featuring charming narrow streets around Saint Anne church.

Seville has charm and smells of orange trees, it is history and art, it is flamenco and class, it is Semana Santa and Feria, it is nocturnal and lively; it is SEVILLE...
