Floating event centre

The A38 is a decommissioned Ukrainian stone hauler ship from 1968 that has started a new life on the Danube in Budapest as a major floating bar and live-music venue. Since its inauguration in 2003, it has become one of Budapest's most important venues, and one of Europe's coolest clubs. Not only musical, but literary, fine art and film events are put on for visitors. The ship is moored on the left side of the Danube, 150 meters south of the Petőfi Bridge.

Once on board you choose between three floors of revelry: the roof terrace, the restaurant, and the lounge and club. Permanently moored beside Petőfi Bridge, the ship’s restaurant’s huge glass windows offer probably the most beautiful view of the river and the city. Its interior furnished in brown leather and dark wood in a modern style provide a warm, friendly and elegant atmosphere.

The facilities of the ship, including restaurant, bars and panoramic terraces are also designed to serve as an ideal and interesting place for business entertainment events. The main hall can be easily transformed into training rooms, seminar or conference hall. Various other spaces can be used for small sessions or meetings. The A38 Ship is an exciting cultural institution and events center. It’s interesting, well-equipped spaces provide an outstanding opportunity for company events, product promotions, incentives, receptions, gala dinners etc.
